FLEX N FLOW™ is the collaborative effort of two individuals with a combined career of well over 50 years of Low Impact Development (LID), sustainable porous pavements , and civil & environmental geoconstruction industry involvement.
Mr. Kevin Bagnall of KB Industries and Mr. Joe Kaul of Kaul Corporation have forged reputations for hard work, innovation and quality product development over vastly different geographic regions.
When it came to creating FLEX N FLOW™, both men came from completely different backgrounds and perspectives, but had nearly identical ideas for creating a product to meet the challenge of extreme aquatic erosion control that will blend into natural surroundings.
They wanted something that could be easily deployed, was sustainable both from an environmental point of view and in terms of ongoing maintenance, and would not alter the flow of water but would dissipate it to remove its destructive energy.
Their backgrounds – while very different – have converged to form a strong and capable leadership team that is well-suited to drive the product forward for use in a wide variety of applications.

Kevin BagnallKevin is responsible for the creation of Flexipave, a unique product that utilizes recycled car tires, natural aggregate, and a specialized bonding agent to create a flexible, porous surfacing material.
Kevin hails from Yorkshire in Northern England, but has been a Florida resident for over 20 years. Kevin’s entrepreneurial skills combined with an unstoppable hands-on work ethic has seen him take his products from laboratory ideas to installing new pathways around Old Faithful in Yellowstone National Park and within the Arlington National Cemetery. The Green Partnership Program will form a key strategic platform for the FLEX N FLOW™ product, allowing the company to align with Municipal, State, and Federal Organizations that are already taking a proactive stance towards sustainability and resource conservation. |
joe kaulJoe has over 35 years of civil and environmental geoconstruction experience specializing in product development, sales and installation expertise. With a reputation for innovation and hard work, Joe has the ability to see the need for a certain product in the construction industry and the wherewithal to successfully bring the product to market.
Joe hails from Southern Minnesota, but has been a resident of the Denver CO area for over 25 years. He holds five US patents and was responsible for creating FilterPave, a decorative porous pavement made from recycled glass and aggregate. The formative years of Joe’s career gave him a vital understanding and hands on experience with all the commonly used construction materials, including concrete walls and flatwork, asphalt, steel & decorative stone work. These early experiences fostered his drive to develop complementary construction products suited for today’s building and property maintenance challenges. |
